The ESS 2.2 supports multiple network cards, and allows optional, automated GPS site survey when working outdoors. Running the product requires a standard laptop PC with Windows XP or 2000 and a supported WLAN card.

Ekahau Site Survey 2.2 displays the area of access points in the network. Different colors describe the signal levels within the network.

ESS allows you to find the best possible locations and channels for both new or existing access points.
